A Clockwork Orange (1971) is a film by director Stanley Kubrik based on the novel by Anthony Burgess. It is a surrealist science fiction story about a young man name Alex (Malcolm McDowell). Alex is a psychopathic deliquent who heads a gang, noted as Alex's interests are "rape, ultra-violence, and Beethoven."
