This slicing disk is 6 mm thick and made specifically for quick and easy slicing of almost anything that you would use a knife for; it's excellent, for example, for preparing meat and cheese trays where even and symmetrical slices are imperative. The disk fits a variety of KitchenAid processor sizes and is easy to install and remove.
